South West Zone youth Cricket Development League (SWYDL)

Develop Quality players at an early age. Support USA Cricket.

The league format is designed to bring competitiveness in the game and players learn to adopt match requirements.

The league matches will be played on batting, bowling points basis,which will creat interest in the game, till the end of the match.

  • 30 over games with emphasis on skills development and game sense training.
  • Age group under 16
  • Four teams 6 games/team
  • June – July

Double-Wicket Championship

Double-wicket cricket is a form of cricket with two teams of two players each which are pitched against each other for a limited number of overs. A player getting out in this form of cricket does not retire but continues to bat but is penalized a stipulated number of runs for each time he gets out. The objective to organize double-wicket championship between clubs and academies to empower the players to take there own decisions and developed leader ship qualities in an early age.

The Tournament will organize between academies/clubs teams.

Girls Cricket

SCNCA with its mission to develop women’s cricket at par men’s cricket. ICC is also very keen to uplift the women’s cricket and bring them at men’s cricket standards.

SCNCA will support the statement of ICC about women’s cricket. Academy will organized development program for girls as well as cricket events to support and encourage the girls to attach the game of cricket.

T-20 Championship

Twenty20 (T20) is a shortened game format of cricket. A typical Twenty20 game is completed in about three hours, with each innings lasting around 90 minutes and an official 10-minute break between the innings.

This is much shorter than previous forms of the game, and is closer to the timespan of other popular team sports. It was introduced to create a fast-paced game that would be attractive to spectators at the ground and viewers on television. The game has succeeded in spreading around the cricket world.

Keeping in mind the popularity of this format in USA, to develop technique/innovation of T-20 Cricket SCNCA USA will organize and give the opportunity to players and clubs to participate in T-20 championship league. The tournaments will be played on turf pitches of Moosa Cricket Stadium.
